Free Consultation
This is the first meeting, where we will go over the contract as well as any fees that are associated with my service.
Phone & Email Support
Upon signing the contract and first payment, I will be available 24/7 for any phone/text & email support,
2 Prenatal Visits
We will meet 2 more times prior to labor and delivery, the first time will be to get to know each other, the second time will be to go over the birthing plan.
Professional Information
I will try my best to give any advice on anything you may need to purchase. I will give my personal feedback on baby registry items, or anything you may need for yourself, and if there are any must-haves.
During labor
I am there for the expectant mother. I will be there for physical and emotional support the entire time, whether you need a massage or to just hold a hand. I will be your voice when you can talk.
As a Doula, I Do Not:
Perform any clinical tasks
I am not a doctor or midwife, I do not perform any medical or clinical tasks that they would, I am more than happy to tag along on an appointment if needed or advise whom to go to, but I do not perform any tasks other than making sure my client is getting the support they need from me.
Baby’s first feeding Support
nursing or bottles?
I'm not a certified lactation consultant, or a feeding expert but I will give advice as best i could, and if it is not something I am familiar with I will provide contact that is needed.
Make decisions for you
I'm not here to make any decisions for you. You can feel free to talk to me about something, to tell me how you feel about something. I can help you research something for better understanding for you to make a decision . However, I don't make any decisions.
Postpartum follow-up visit
This is the visit after giving birth, could be anywhere from 48 hours to a week after. I will stop by to check in on you and the baby, and give you the support you need at the time of the visit.
Community Referrals
I will provide my clients with any apps or organizations that may be helpful.
Speak to the staff on your behalf
Anything that needs to be overseen and talked about should be with the doctor and/or midwife. I am here to be your support, but I am not a staff member or a medical professional to speak to anyone.
Project any of my own beliefs onto your experience
While I have my own experience that I can share, and I have my own opinions and beliefs, I will not project anything onto my client. I will support you in what you believe in or have an opinion of.
